We are Looking for Trustees

Therapeutic gardening and rural crafts for people who experience mental health difficulties

Home Have you ever thought about becoming a charity trustee?  It can be a fun and rewarding activity.

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic people to oversee and participate in the running Root & Branch.  Typically, as a  trustee, you will have general experience of management, administration and committee work.  In addition, you may have particular skills in fund-raising, finance, health and safety, publicity, IT or mental health issues.

Do have a look around this web site and think about what you could contribute.  The responsibilities of trustees are set out in by the Charity Commission here.

Trustee meetings are held once a month in the evening.  Trustees are also expected to take on tasks and responsibilities that may occupy them for one or two days a month.
